Good tool for beginners, and can be modified to meet the challenges of advanced learners. I had earlier used a Dos version and this is infinitely better with DOS becoming almost obsolete.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4314941629795542873.post-23358651901941531502011-03-28T22:23:39.146+01:002011-03-28T22:23:39.146+01:00Well there was another good one that I wrote about...Well there was another good one that I wrote about here, but it seems to have disapeared: http://quickshout.blogspot.com/2010/05/create-quick-interactive-activities.html

best
NikNik Peacheyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13397596906147004693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4314941629795542873.post-134161513104913722011-03-28T22:17:16.079+01:002011-03-28T22:17:16.079+01:00Yes, I was just about to say that Hot Potatoes sti...Yes, I was just about to say that Hot Potatoes still is the best for cloze activities. Ok, it can be rather tiresome to set it up, but at least it works. Incidentally, Lextutor works in IE but not in Chrome. Unfortunately, she doesn't acknowledge emails or suggestions.

I've also tried Steve Neufeld's suggestion, but it didn't 'check' the answers.

I've been looking for an interactive cloze creator for some time now, but without any luck. If you happen to find one in good working order, please let me know!

ChiewChiewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10186336034760631486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4314941629795542873.post-38545796381846765462010-11-26T00:12:48.898+00:002010-11-26T00:12:48.898+00:00Tom Cobb's Lextutor CLOZE tool is not as user ...Tom Cobb's Lextutor CLOZE tool is not as user friendly, but is well worth a visit to http://www.lextutor.ca/cloze/ Tom has done a lot of work on the tool based on requests by users, so it is a pretty sophisticated way of creating an interactive CLOZE tool.
